Gurugram-based healthtech startup GABIT has acquired Sweden-origin clean nutrition brand Näck to unify wearable-led health tracking with science-backed supplementation, marking a strategic move toward outcome-driven digital health management.
Glimpse:
GABIT’s acquisition of Näck brings together smart wearables, diagnostics, AI-led health insights, and clean-label supplements under one platform. The move enables users to link nutrition intake directly with measurable health outcomes, closing the loop between data and action.
GABIT, a Gurugram-based healthtech and wellness brand, has acquired Näck, a Sweden-origin clean nutrition company, as it accelerates efforts to build a tightly integrated digital health ecosystem. The acquisition connects GABIT’s wearable-led health tracking platform with Näck’s science-backed nutritional supplements, enabling users to translate health insights into measurable outcomes.
Founded in 2022 by Gaurav Gupta and Arpana Shahi, GABIT operates at the intersection of wearables, diagnostics, and AI-driven health guidance. The company is best known for its titanium smart ring, which continuously tracks sleep, fitness, stress, and nutrition-linked parameters. Over time, GABIT has expanded its ecosystem to include smart scales, blood work analysis, and integrations with continuous glucose monitoring systems, allowing users to monitor more than 150 health markers within a single platform.
With the acquisition of Näck, GABIT is extending its data-first philosophy into the nutrition layer. Näck’s supplements are developed around recommended dietary allowances, with a strong focus on clean-label formulations. The brand holds Informed Choice certification and tests its products against over 250 banned substances, positioning it for both professional athletes and health-conscious consumers seeking transparency and scientific rigor.
According to GABIT, the integration is designed to close the loop between insight and action. Users can identify nutritional gaps through wearable data and diagnostics, introduce targeted Näck supplements, and then track the resulting changes in their health metrics over time. This approach shifts digital health from passive monitoring to outcome-driven health management.
By directly linking supplement intake with real-time data from wearables and laboratory results, GABIT aims to make nutrition decisions more objective and evidence-based. The acquisition positions GABIT as one of the few digital health platforms in India to combine wearable hardware, diagnostics, AI coaching, and branded nutritional supplements within a unified ecosystem.
