In a heartfelt ceremony amid the festive season, Nita Ambani, Founder and Chairperson of Reliance Foundation, unveiled JEEVAN a dedicated new wing for cancer and dialysis care at Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai. The inauguration on December 26, 2025, was attended by Mukesh Ambani, family members including Nita’s mother Purnima Dalal and sister Mamta Dalal, underscoring its deeply personal significance.
Named JEEVAN (meaning ‘life’), the centre is a loving tribute to Nita Ambani’s late father, Shri Ravindrabhai Dalal, whose values of kindness, empathy, service, and respect for every life inspired the initiative. “Jeevan is my dedication as a daughter to my father. Papa taught me that seva is the highest form of worship,” Nita Ambani shared.
The wing brings advanced oncology and dialysis services under one roof, supported by 24/7 critical care. A standout feature is the paediatric chemotherapy ward, designed as a “home away from home” with vibrant wall art of animals and nature to ease anxiety for young patients and their families. Nita Ambani emphasized: “Every child who comes to JEEVAN, with hope of good health and a bright future, goes home from here.”
