Gleneagles BGS Hospital has launched the HEAL Health Card, a new initiative aimed at expanding access to affordable and quality healthcare in Bengaluru. The program is part of the broader HEAL (Healthcare Excellence through Access & Learning) framework, designed to improve patient care while strengthening collaboration across the healthcare ecosystem.
The initiative brings together nursing homes, doctors, and hospital teams to enhance coordination, promote continuous medical learning, and ultimately deliver better patient outcomes. By integrating services across stakeholders, the program aims to simplify access to consultations, diagnostics, and essential treatments for patients.
Under the HEAL Health Card, patients can benefit from faster access to doctors, discounted consultations and emergency services, and a range of preventive health check up packages. Additional offerings include complimentary second opinions in select specialties, along with nutritional and mental health consultations making the program holistic in its approach to well being.
Beyond patient benefits, the initiative also focuses on improving clinical capabilities. Doctors and healthcare staff will gain access to structured training programs and super specialty expertise from Fortis Healthcare professionals. These include training in life saving skills such as Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ALS), infection control, trauma response, and stroke management ensuring higher standards of care delivery.
The HEAL program also emphasizes preventive healthcare, encouraging individuals to stay proactive through regular check-ups and continuous engagement rather than seeking care only during illness. This reflects a broader shift in India’s healthcare landscape toward patient centric, preventive, and integrated care models.
“Access to quality healthcare should be simple and within reach for everyone.”
