Cloudnine Hospitals has expanded its footprint in Hyderabad with the launch of its fifth hospital in the city, marking its 45th center nationwide. The move underscores the company’s aggressive growth strategy and its focus on strengthening maternal and pediatric healthcare services across India.
The newly launched facility aims to improve access to essential services such as gynecology, maternity care, and neonatology, catering to the rising demand for specialized women and child healthcare in urban centers. By establishing a presence in key locations within the city, Cloudnine seeks to bring high quality care closer to patients.
Founded in 2006, Cloudnine has rapidly evolved into one of India’s leading healthcare providers in the mother-and-child segment. With operations spanning multiple cities, the Bengaluru-based chain currently runs around 40 centers and continues to expand aggressively. In FY25 alone, it added seven new centers and is targeting six to seven more launches in the current fiscal year.
The Hyderabad expansion aligns with the company’s broader strategy to deepen its presence in metro markets while enhancing clinical expertise. As part of this vision, Cloudnine is also investing in specialized training programs for doctors, including internationally aligned certifications like MRCOG and MRCPCH an initiative aimed at raising standards in maternal and pediatric care in India.
In parallel, Cloudnine is exploring inorganic growth opportunities. The company is currently in advanced discussions to acquire Apollo Cradle & Children’s Hospital in a deal estimated at around ₹1,500 crore, which could further strengthen its leadership position in the segment.
This expansion reflects a broader trend in India’s healthcare sector, where specialized hospital chains are scaling rapidly to meet growing demand for quality, focused care especially in women’s and children’s health.
“Expanding our network allows us to bring specialized maternal and pediatric care closer to families who need it most.”
