Pacific OneHealth Commits ₹300 Cr to Build Micro-Hospital Network Across North India

Pacific OneHealth has announced a ₹300 crore investment to develop a network of micro-hospitals aimed at decentralising secondary and emergency care in North India. These compact, technology-enabled facilities will bring quality diagnostics, day-care procedures, short-stay admissions, and 24×7 emergency services closer to communities in tier-2, tier-3, and semi-urban areas, reducing the need for patients to travel long distances to large city hospitals.

Glimpse:

The ₹300 crore project will fund the rollout of multiple micro-hospitals (typically 50–100 beds each) equipped with modern diagnostic labs, modular operation theatres, ICUs, telemedicine links to specialists, and digital health integration. The model focuses on high-volume, essential services such as emergency care, maternal health, basic surgeries, chronic disease management, and preventive screenings. The initiative targets underserved districts in North India, with plans to create local employment, partner with Ayushman Bharat, and ensure affordable care through insurance and community programmes.

Pacific OneHealth, an emerging healthcare group focused on innovative and accessible care models, has unveiled plans to invest ₹300 crore in building a network of micro-hospitals across North India. The announcement, made on February 27, 2026, reflects the company’s strategy to address the critical gap in secondary healthcare delivery by bringing quality medical services closer to smaller towns and semi-urban populations that currently depend on overburdened tertiary hospitals in major cities.

Each micro-hospital in the planned network will be a compact, modern facility with 50–100 beds, offering 24×7 emergency services, basic and intermediate surgical procedures, advanced diagnostics (including digital X-ray, ultrasound, automated labs, and ECG), short-stay inpatient care, and strong telemedicine connectivity to specialist doctors. The design emphasises speed, affordability, and patient comfort, with digital tools for appointment booking, electronic records, and real-time coordination with larger referral centres. Special focus will be given to high-need areas such as maternal and child health, trauma care, chronic disease management (diabetes, hypertension), and preventive health screenings.

The ₹300 crore investment will cover land acquisition or leasing, construction of modular facilities, procurement of medical equipment, technology infrastructure, and initial working capital. Pacific OneHealth plans to develop these micro-hospitals in a phased manner, starting with priority districts in Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Punjab. The group intends to empanel all facilities under Ayushman Bharat and major insurance schemes to ensure wide accessibility and financial protection for patients.

This decentralised model is expected to significantly reduce travel time and out-of-pocket expenses for families, ease the load on big-city hospitals, and improve health outcomes through timely intervention. The project will also generate local employment opportunities for doctors, nurses, technicians, and support staff while creating ancillary business for pharmacies, diagnostic labs, and logistics providers in the region.

The announcement has been welcomed by public health experts and state governments as a much-needed private-sector contribution toward equitable healthcare access in North India. Pacific OneHealth aims to commission the first set of micro-hospitals within the next 18–24 months and gradually expand the network to cover more underserved areas.

“Quality healthcare should not be limited to big cities. With our micro-hospital network, we are bringing reliable secondary care closer to where people live, making treatment faster, more affordable, and more compassionate for millions of families across North India.”
