Gleneagles BGS Hospital, part of the Fortis Healthcare network, has launched the HEAL Health Card as part of its broader HEAL (Healthcare Excellence through Access & Learning) programme to improve access to affordable and quality healthcare.

The initiative aims to create a more connected healthcare ecosystem by bringing together nursing homes, doctors, and hospital teams. Through this collaboration, the programme seeks to enhance coordination, promote continuous clinical learning, and improve overall patient outcomes.

Under the HEAL Health Card, patients will benefit from quicker access to doctors, faster service delivery, and financial relief through discounts on consultations and emergency services. The programme also includes preventive health check-up packages, complimentary second opinions in select specialties, and additional support such as nutritional and mental health consultations making it a holistic care initiative.

Beyond patient benefits, the programme focuses heavily on strengthening clinical capabilities. Doctors and hospital staff will gain access to structured training and super specialty expertise from Fortis professionals, covering critical areas such as Basic and Advanced Life Support (BLS/ALS), infection control, trauma response, stroke management, and emergency care protocols.

The HEAL programme also emphasizes preventive healthcare by encouraging regular health check ups and continuous engagement, shifting the focus from reactive treatment to proactive wellness. This initiative reflects a broader trend in India’s healthcare sector toward integrated, patient centric, and accessible care models.

“Access to quality healthcare should be simple and within reach for everyone.”
