Dr. Lal PathLabs has completed the acquisition of a 100% stake in Shahbazkers Diagnostic Centre, strengthening its presence in Western India and reinforcing its expansion strategy in the diagnostics sector.
The acquisition, finalized on May 1, 2026, makes Shahbazkers Diagnostic Centre a wholly owned subsidiary of Dr. Lal PathLabs, following the execution of a share purchase agreement.
Valued at up to ₹20 crore, the deal is aimed at consolidating the company’s footprint in key markets such as Mumbai and Maharashtra, where demand for diagnostic services continues to grow.
Shahbazkers Diagnostic Centre, a regional diagnostics provider, reported modest revenues but holds strategic importance due to its local market presence and operational network. The acquisition enables Dr. Lal PathLabs to integrate services, improve operational efficiencies, and expand its reach in a competitive healthcare diagnostics landscape.
