Reliance Foundation Chairperson Nita Ambani inaugurated JEEVAN, a state of the art cancer and dialysis centre at Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai on December 26, 2025. Dedicated to her late father Ravindrabhai Dalal, the wing features advanced oncology and renal care, including a child friendly paediatric chemotherapy ward, marking a personal tribute amid the hospital’s 10th anniversary celebrations.

Glimpse:

JEEVAN expands specialised chronic care at the iconic Mumbai hospital, offering cutting edge treatments for cancer and dialysis patients. With vibrant, comforting designs especially in the paediatric ward the centre embodies compassion and accessibility. Over the past decade, the hospital has served 3.3 million patients, including 1.6 million children, reinforcing Reliance Foundation’s commitment to affordable, world class healthcare.

In a heartfelt ceremony amid the festive season, Nita Ambani, Founder and Chairperson of Reliance Foundation, unveiled JEEVAN a dedicated new wing for cancer and dialysis care at Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai. The inauguration on December 26, 2025, was attended by Mukesh Ambani, family members including Nita’s mother Purnima Dalal and sister Mamta Dalal, underscoring its deeply personal significance.

Named JEEVAN (meaning ‘life’), the centre is a loving tribute to Nita Ambani’s late father, Shri Ravindrabhai Dalal, whose values of kindness, empathy, service, and respect for every life inspired the initiative. “Jeevan is my dedication as a daughter to my father. Papa taught me that seva is the highest form of worship,” Nita Ambani shared.

The wing brings advanced oncology and dialysis services under one roof, supported by 24/7 critical care. A standout feature is the paediatric chemotherapy ward, designed as a “home away from home” with vibrant wall art of animals and nature to ease anxiety for young patients and their families. Nita Ambani emphasized: “Every child who comes to JEEVAN, with hope of good health and a bright future, goes home from here.”

This launch coincides with the hospital’s 10th anniversary, during which it has treated 3.3 million patients, including 1.6 million children. It builds on Reliance Foundation’s vision of making world class healthcare affordable and accessible, blending clinical excellence with humane, patient centric design.

The event highlights ongoing expansions, including recent tele robotic surgery programs for remote areas, as Reliance continues to bridge healthcare gaps across India.

“Ten years ago, we began the vision to make world class healthcare affordable and accessible to every Indian and now, we are opening JEEVAN, a very special new wing of our hospital.”
