Nabta Health has secured $2 million in pre-Series A funding to expand its AI-driven hybrid care model for women across the Middle East and Africa. The startup’s model blends virtual consultations, clinical care, and at-home diagnostics  and the fresh capital will deepen partnerships with hospitals and insurers, launch sophisticated testing pathways, and grow its infrastructure. Nabta’s aim deliver affordable, culturally aware, full-spectrum women’s healthcare.

UAE-based women’s health innovator Nabta Health has closed a $2 million pre-Series A round, bringing its total funding to $4.5 million. The company will channel this investment into scaling its AI-powered, hybrid model of women’s healthcare combining digital tools, in-clinic services, and at-home testing.

Founded in 2017, Nabta offers culturally sensitive, woman-centric care driven by its AI assistant, Aya. The platform provides personalized clinical pathways, preventive care, and chronic disease management tailored to women’s life stages and goals.  plans to expand its reach across the Middle East and Africa through employer, insurer, and hospital partnerships.

A major focus for the capital is building out diagnostic infrastructure: Nabta aims to introduce more at-home testing options, deepen its clinical capacity, and integrate its model more deeply with hospital systems. The company’s mission remains sharply focused on making women’s health more accessible, mobile-first, and evidence-driven. Earlier this year, Nabta also launched a Center of Excellence for women’s care, offering comprehensive, stage-specific clinical services  fertility, perinatal support, menopause, and more  under a single roof.

Sophie Smith, Founder & CEO of Nabta, said “We’re thrilled to close this round  it validates our vision that women’s healthcare can be reimagined through a model that is affordable, accessible, and built by women for women.”

“This is about meeting women where they are digitally, in their homes, or in clinics and delivering smart, culturally aware care that reflects real life.”
