Preventive healthcare startup Cent has launched an advanced clinical prevention centre in Bengaluru, focusing on early detection of diseases using AI-driven diagnostics and comprehensive screening protocols.
Glimpse:
Announced in April 2026, Bengaluru based startup Cent introduced its first Clinical Prevention Centre, designed for early disease detection using AI, full body imaging, and multi modal diagnostics. The facility can screen for over 300 health conditions, including cancer, cardiac, neurological, and metabolic risks, even before symptoms appear.
Preventive healthcare startup Cent, founded by Shashank ND, has launched an advanced clinical prevention centre in Bengaluru, marking a significant shift toward early detection focused healthcare infrastructure in India.
The centre is designed as a purpose built facility for preventive care, moving beyond traditional diagnostics that rely on symptoms. Instead, it uses a structured, AI-driven approach to identify health risks at an early stage, enabling timely intervention and improved outcomes.
At the core of the facility is a multi modal screening protocol that integrates advanced imaging technologies such as full body MRI, CT scans, DEXA scans, ECG tests, and extensive biomarker analysis. Combined with AI-powered interpretation, the system can assess risks across major disease categories including cancer, cardiovascular conditions, neurological disorders, and metabolic diseases.
The platform is capable of screening for over 300 potential health conditions in a single visit, offering a comprehensive view of an individual’s health status. This represents a major evolution from conventional health checkups, which typically focus on limited biomarkers and often fail to detect early stage diseases.
Cent’s model is built around early detection as a core healthcare strategy, addressing a critical gap where many serious conditions especially cancer and heart disease are often diagnosed only at advanced stages. By shifting the focus upstream, the company aims to reduce disease burden, treatment costs, and mortality rates.
The startup operates as a direct to consumer platform, allowing individuals to book preventive screenings, receive detailed reports, and access personalized insights such as organ specific health scores, biological age tracking, and risk alerts.
The launch aligns with Cent’s broader vision to build a network of dedicated early detection centres across major Indian cities, positioning preventive healthcare as a mainstream, technology driven service rather than a secondary option.
Experts note that this approach reflects a growing trend in healthcare, where AI, advanced imaging, and data analytics are being combined to shift from reactive treatment to proactive prevention, potentially transforming long-term health outcomes at scale.
