Guardant Health has entered into a Multi Year Strategic Collaboration with Nuvalent to advance precision oncology by combining advanced diagnostics with targeted cancer therapies.
The partnership will leverage Guardant’s Tissue And Liquid Biopsy Technologies, particularly its Guardant Infinity™ platform, to support the clinical development of Nuvalent’s oncology pipeline. These tools enable detailed genomic analysis through blood and tissue samples, helping identify the right patients for targeted therapies.
A key focus of the collaboration is the development of Companion Diagnostics (CDx) tests designed to match patients with the most effective treatments. The companies will evaluate opportunities to create these diagnostic tools alongside Nuvalent’s investigational cancer drugs, supporting regulatory approvals and improving treatment precision.
The agreement also includes plans to Support Global Clinical Trials and collaborate on the Commercialization Of Therapies And Diagnostics across major international markets, if the treatments receive approval.
Nuvalent, known for developing Highly Selective Targeted Therapies for cancers such as ROS1-positive, ALK-positive, and HER2-altered tumors, will benefit from Guardant’s diagnostic capabilities to accelerate drug development and improve trial efficiency.
This collaboration highlights the growing importance of Biomarker Driven Precision Medicine, where diagnostics and therapeutics are developed together to deliver more personalized and effective cancer care. By integrating advanced testing with targeted treatments, the partnership aims to improve patient selection, speed up clinical trials, and ultimately enhance outcomes for cancer patients worldwide.
“Biomarker driven approaches are essential for identifying the right patients and accelerating precision oncology.”
