Guardant Health has entered into a strategic partnership with Zephyr AI to combine Guardant’s real-world molecular oncology data with Zephyr’s AI/ML analytics platform, aiming to identify novel biomarkers and predict drug response in cancer treatment.

In a move to sharpen the tools of precision oncology, Guardant Health and Zephyr AI announced a strategic collaboration on 27 October 2025. Guardant, a leader in liquid biopsy and tumor-profiling diagnostics, brings a vast repository of multimodal molecular and real-world clinical data to the table. Zephyr AI, an enterprise-scale AI/ML platform focused on precision medicine, contributes its analytics engine and large clinicogenomic datasets.
The partnership aims to merge these capabilities in order to accelerate biomarker discovery, predict therapy responses and support development of targeted cancer treatments. Guardant’s co-CEO Helmy Eltoukhy said that by combining “industry-leading molecular data with Zephyr AI’s advanced analytics platform,” the companies are taking “another major step toward realizing the full potential of precision oncology.”
Zephyr’s CEO Allen Chao described the collaboration as “the convergence of unmatched real-world data, leading-edge diagnostics and cutting-edge machine learning to enable more precise, scalable and impactful oncology solutions.”
Observers note that the collaboration reflects a broader trend in oncology: the infusion of AI plus large clinical-genomic databases to shorten drug development cycles, improve trial success rates and bring more personalised therapies to patients faster.
