Paras Health has strengthened its regional presence by launching its first Paras MedCentre in Mohali, marking a significant step toward decentralised and accessible healthcare delivery. The new outpatient focused facility is designed to bring specialist consultations, diagnostics, and follow up care closer to patients, reducing dependence on large hospital visits.
Located in the rapidly growing Tricity region, the MedCentre will be supported by visiting doctors and specialists from Paras Health’s Panchkula hospital. This integration ensures continuity of care while enabling patients to access expert medical services without long distance travel.
The initiative addresses a critical gap in urbanising areas where timely access to specialists remains a challenge. By offering routine consultations and ongoing treatment support locally, the centre is expected to improve patient compliance, early diagnosis, and overall health outcomes.
The launch also reflects a broader trend in India’s healthcare sector toward outpatient and community based care models. As demand rises for convenient and cost effective healthcare services, hospital chains are increasingly investing in satellite centres to extend their reach and improve accessibility.
Beyond convenience, the MedCentre aims to make healthcare more affordable and continuous particularly for patients requiring regular follow ups or chronic disease management. This aligns with Paras Health’s long term strategy to build a patient first ecosystem that prioritizes accessibility and continuity of care.
“Our focus is on bringing specialist consultations closer to where patients live, making care more accessible, convenient, and continuous.”
