AIIMS Guwahati has inaugurated a state of the art neurosurgical operation theatre (OT) facility, marking a significant step forward in delivering advanced brain and spine care in the region.
The newly established OT is equipped with cutting edge surgical technologies, enabling highly precise and minimally invasive neurosurgical procedures. This includes advanced imaging integration, high end operating microscopes, and navigation systems that allow surgeons to perform complex procedures with improved accuracy and safety.
The facility is expected to enhance the hospital’s ability to treat critical neurological conditions, including brain tumors, spinal disorders, and traumatic injuries. By offering advanced surgical capabilities locally, patients in the Northeast region will gain access to specialized care without needing to travel to other metropolitan centers.
