vTitan Unveils vCardio India’s Own AI-Powered Wearable Cardiac Monitor for Continuous Heart Care

vTitan has launched vCardio, a single-lead, wearable cardiac monitor developed and manufactured in India  offering continuous ECG monitoring, AI-driven arrhythmia detection and remote cardiac care through a mobile/cloud platform.

Glimpse:

The compact, easy-to-wear device is designed for point-of-care settings, home-based monitoring and post-surgical follow-up. With Bluetooth connectivity, vCardio integrates with a mobile app for real-time ECG data capture, and uses embedded AI to detect over 20 clinically relevant arrhythmias  alerting clinicians instantly on abnormalities.

vTitan, a med-tech manufacturer with a track record in infusion, monitoring, radiology and cardiology devices, announced today the launch of vCardio, touted as a ‘made-in-India’ solution for continuous cardiac monitoring.

vCardio is a lightweight, battery-operated wearable that attaches to the chest (lead-II configuration) and is capable of continuous ECG monitoring for extended periods (up to a week). The device collects ECG data as well as activity, posture and basic motion data  enabling a holistic view of cardiac and physiological status.

What sets vCardio apart is its on-device edge-AI processing and cloud-backed analysis. For short-term point-of-care use (e.g. clinics), it provides quick ECG snapshots. For longer durations (home-monitoring or post-operative care), data synchronizes with vTitan’s app  where AI algorithms analyze patterns over time to detect arrhythmias, flag potential cardiac events, and generate daily/hourly summaries and event-based snapshots for physicians.

According to vTitan’s CEO, the product aims to fill a critical gap: providing affordable, reliable cardiac monitoring to ambulatory clinics, home-care settings, and regions where access to continuous ECG diagnostics is limited.  With vCardio, remote patient monitoring becomes more accessible — potentially improving early detection and post-surgical follow ups especially for patients at risk of arrhythmia or cardiac events.

“We built vCardio from the ground up as an edge-AI enabled cardiac monitor that meets clinical needs, supports continuous care, and brings cardiac diagnostics closer to patients’ homes.”
