Dozee best known for its AI-enabled contactless vital signs monitoring and Early Warning System (EWS)  has recently secured an Indian patent for an advanced method behind its contactless health monitoring technology. This innovation is focused on analysing cardiac performance and vital trend detection without physical contact, using ballistocardiography-derived signals processed via AI.

The company’s contactless solution places a sensitive sensor sheet beneath a mattress to capture micro-vibrations generated by heartbeats, breathing and body movement. These signals feed an AI engine that converts raw motion into clinically meaningful vital parameters  such as heart rate, respiration rate, oxygen saturation and early cardiac performance indicators  in real time. This patent adds another layer of intellectual property depth to Dozee’s AI algorithms and core sensing framework, further protecting and enhancing its medical device capabilities.

Dozee’s technology  developed and made in India  has already seen deployment in hospitals nationwide, helping clinicians monitor patients without the need for wires, cuffs or manual measurements. Its Early Warning System alerts healthcare providers to early signs of deterioration, enabling faster clinical intervention and potentially better outcomes for patients in general wards, step-down units and non-ICU environments.
