Superhealth has signed a landmark multi-year agreement with United Imaging Healthcare to outfit 100 upcoming hospitals in India with advanced radiology systems, marking one of the largest equipment deals in Indian healthcare history.
Glimpse:
The pact, valued at over ₹2,500 crore, covers supply, installation and lifecycle management of equipment including AI-ready MRI scanners, 160-slice CT, full-body cardiac CT, digital mammography and digital X-ray systems across 100 Superhealth hospitals. The deal also includes creation of a local service hub in India.
The hospital network Superhealth announced a major strategic partnership with United Imaging Healthcare, signing a multi-year agreement exceeding ₹2,500 crore to deploy advanced radiology systems across its pipeline of 100 new hospitals in India. Under the deal, United Imaging will not only supply the equipment but manage installations and lifecycle servicing of the full suite including AI-enabled MRI machines, 160-slice CT scanners, full-body cardiac CT, digital mammography and digital X-ray systems.
Superhealth says this scale of investment will accelerate its mission by compressing decades of diagnostic progress into the next five years, enabling its patients to access world-class imaging. The company also aims to integrate these systems with its digital platforms and electronic medical records for improved diagnostics and faster turnaround times. United Imaging, meanwhile, will establish a dedicated service hub and parts depot in India, creating over 1,000 high-skilled jobs as part of the agreement.
This partnership also aims to fill gaps in India’s imaging infrastructure: India currently performs fewer than ten CT scans per 10,000 people annually less than one-seventh of OECD levels and this deal could help shift that paradigm in clinical care.
“Partnering with United Imaging on a deal of this scale allows us to compress decades of progress into the next five years so every Superhealth patient can access world-class imaging leading to better outcomes.”
