Medikabazaar has signed onto a landmark ₹2,500 crore radiology infrastructure deal, partnering with Superhealth and United Imaging to bring advanced imaging capabilities across India aimed at elevating diagnostics in underserved markets.
Glimpse:
Under the agreement, United Imaging will supply, install, and maintain end-to-end radiology systems across 100 new Superhealth hospitals. Medikabazaar’s role helps streamline equipment procurement, supply chain and integration, positioning diagnostics as a scalable pillar in India’s healthcare expansion.
Medikabazaar has joined a major strategic radiology infrastructure deal valued at ₹2,500 crore in collaboration with Superhealth and United Imaging to deepen diagnostic access across India. This multi-year pact leverages each partner’s strengths: United Imaging will manage supply, installation, and lifecycle services; Superhealth will integrate the imaging systems across its 100-hospital pipeline; Medikabazaar will streamline the procurement, logistics, and integration of the imaging hardware into hospital workflows.
Through this alliance, high-end modalities such as AI-ready MRI scanners, high-slice CT systems, digital mammography, X-ray units, and full cardiac imaging stacks will be deployed. The intent is to consolidate the diagnostic supply chain reducing costs, ensuring quality, and accelerating adoption in tier-2 and tier-3 cities. In doing so, the deal is poised to be among the largest radiology infrastructure investments in India’s healthcare history.
By aligning imaging with Superhealth’s hospital expansion strategy and Medikabazaar’s distribution scale, the agreement aims to compress years of diagnostic build-out into a shorter timeframe. As imaging becomes increasingly central to disease detection, treatment planning, and outcome monitoring, such capacity expansion is seen as critical to leveling access across regions.
“This collaboration empowers us to scale diagnostic excellence bringing world-class imaging within reach of every patient, not just those in metros.”
