Medi Assist Unveils AI Stack to Make Health Benefits Smarter, Safer & More Sustainable

Medi Assist has launched two AI-driven platforms MAven Guard for real-time fraud detection and MAgnum for hospital enablement  built on a proprietary AI stack to streamline health-benefits workflows, improve transparency and enhance the cashless experience.

These platforms aim to tighten integrity in health claims administration and simplify hospital cashless transactions. The AI-powered suite reflects Medi Assist’s broader push to strengthen its role as a technology-first health-benefits administrator in India.

Medi Assist, one of India’s largest health-benefits administrators, has announced the rollout of a comprehensive AI stack designed to enhance its health-insurance ecosystem.  The two flagship platforms  MAven Guard and MAgnum  have been developed to address critical pain points in claims processing and cashless hospital workflows. 

MAven Guard is a self-learning transaction-integrity system built to detect and deter fraud, waste and abuse in real time. By constantly analyzing transaction data patterns, it aims to reduce claim leakage and enhance the trustworthiness of the network. On the other side, MAgnum is a hospital-enablement platform that improves the cashless experience for patients, helping hospitals manage billing, claim submission, and reconciliation more smoothly.

Medi Assist says these innovations reflect its long-term ambition to make benefits “borderless, effortless, and sustainable.”  According to its 2024–25 annual report, the company is increasingly emphasizing predictive analytics, AI-powered fraud detection, and seamless digital engagement to boost both operational efficiency and stakeholder experience. 

In parallel, Medi Assist has entered into a strategic partnership with Star Health Insurance, which is adopting its MAtrix claims platform  a separate but complementary AI solution  to accelerate claim settlement, reduce manual steps, and enhance customer engagement.
