Reliable diagnostics are the backbone of modern healthcare  and a new partnership in Haryana aims to make that backbone even stronger. Neuberg Diagnostics, a growing player in India’s pathology and clinical testing sector, has signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with the Quality Council of India (QCI) and its sub-body, the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL), to elevate laboratory standards throughout the state.

Under these agreements, Neuberg will work with QCI and NABL to accelerate lab accreditation, ensure compliance with international quality benchmarks, and enhance technical training for laboratory professionals. While accreditation has traditionally been concentrated in top-tier centres, the collaboration plans to extend quality frameworks into smaller cities and semi-urban districts, where variability in diagnostic services has often been a concern.

For patients, this effort could mean more consistent test results, fewer repeat tests, and higher confidence in diagnosis  a crucial factor across disease areas such as cancer, metabolic disorders, infectious disease screening, and preventive health check-ups. By trained personnel, upgraded workflows, and standardised quality controls, the alliance also intends to reduce errors and turnaround times, strengthening the overall care continuum.

The partnership echoes national priorities to make healthcare more reliable and accountable. Aligning with QCI’s mission to promote excellence, and NABL’s role in certifying labs against global standards, Neuberg’s commitment could act as a template for state-wide quality improvement initiatives across India.
