Firstsource Solutions, a leading provider of business process services and digital transformation solutions, has acquired US-based telehealth company Telemedik for up to $3 million. The strategic buyout strengthens Firstsource’s healthcare vertical by adding Telemedik’s cloud-based virtual care platform, remote patient monitoring capabilities, and established US payer and provider relationships enabling deeper penetration into the rapidly growing American telehealth market.

Glimpse:

The acquisition, announced on January 21, 2026, includes an upfront payment with performance-based earn-outs over 24 months. Telemedik’s platform supports virtual consultations, chronic care management, remote monitoring, and integrated billing serving Medicare Advantage plans, ACOs, and independent physician groups. Firstsource plans to integrate Telemedik’s technology with its existing healthcare BPO services, enhancing end-to-end offerings from clinical documentation and revenue cycle management to full virtual care delivery. The deal is expected to close in Q1 FY26–27 subject to customary approvals.

Firstsource Solutions Limited, a global leader in business process services and digital customer experience solutions, has acquired Telemedik, a US-based telehealth provider specialising in virtual care delivery and remote patient monitoring. The transaction, valued at up to $3 million (including earn-outs tied to performance milestones), marks Firstsource’s latest move to deepen its presence in the high-growth US healthcare services market.

Telemedik’s cloud-native platform enables secure video consultations, remote physiologic monitoring, chronic care management (CCM), transitional care management (TCM), and integrated billing/reimbursement support. The company serves Medicare Advantage plans, accountable care organisations (ACOs), and independent physician associations, helping providers deliver compliant, reimbursable virtual care while improving patient engagement and outcomes. Telemedik’s technology is already integrated with major EHRs and supports value-based care models increasingly favoured by US payers.

For Firstsource, the acquisition complements its existing healthcare portfolio, which includes medical coding, clinical documentation improvement, revenue cycle management, and patient engagement services for major US health systems and payers. By bringing Telemedik in-house, Firstsource gains end-to-end capabilities from front-office virtual consultations and remote monitoring to back-office billing and analytics creating a more comprehensive offering for clients navigating the shift to hybrid and value-based care.

Vipul Khanna, Managing Director & CEO of Firstsource, commented: “Telemedik’s proven platform and strong payer relationships align perfectly with our strategy to deliver full-spectrum healthcare services. This acquisition allows us to offer clients a seamless, technology-enabled solution that spans virtual care delivery, clinical operations, and revenue optimisation driving better outcomes for providers and patients alike.”

The deal is structured with an upfront payment and contingent earn-outs over 24 months based on revenue and integration milestones. Telemedik will operate as a subsidiary under Firstsource’s Healthcare vertical, with its leadership team and employees transitioning to support continuity for existing clients. The transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals and is expected to close in the first quarter of FY26–27.

This acquisition reflects Firstsource’s continued focus on expanding its healthcare business through strategic tuck-ins and technology investments. It also underscores the growing convergence of BPO services, telehealth, and digital health platforms in the US market, where payers and providers increasingly seek integrated solutions to manage chronic care costs and improve quality metrics.

With Telemedik’s addition, Firstsource strengthens its ability to serve the evolving needs of US healthcare payers and providers particularly in Medicare Advantage and value-based care environments while reinforcing its position as a trusted partner for end-to-end healthcare transformation.

“Telehealth is no longer a standalone service it’s becoming the front door to comprehensive care management. By combining Telemedik’s virtual care platform with our deep operational expertise, we’re building a truly integrated solution for the future of healthcare delivery.”
