Located strategically in Kolkata, it is designed to serve both urban and regional patients, reduce travel for complex treatments, and incorporate digital health tools for seamless care coordination. The facility is expected to become operational in phases starting 2027–2028, strengthening Neotia’s footprint in West Bengal.

The foundation stone was laid in early 2026, marking a major milestone in the group’s commitment to expanding high-quality healthcare infrastructure in eastern India.
The hospital will offer comprehensive services across key specialties:
Oncology dedicated cancer centre with medical, surgical, and radiation oncology, including advanced radiotherapy and chemotherapy suites Cardiac sciences full-fledged heart institute with cath labs, cardiac surgery, and non-invasive diagnostics Neurosciences stroke unit, neuro-intervention, and spine surgery capabilities Mother & child care level-III NICU, high-risk pregnancy unit, and paediatric subspecialties Orthopaedics & trauma joint replacement, arthroscopy, and trauma centre with 24×7 emergency services Diagnostics & support integrated radiology (MRI, CT, PET-CT), pathology, and molecular labs
The project incorporates modern design principles: modular operation theatres, negative-pressure isolation rooms, energy-efficient systems, and patient-centric layouts. Digital health integration is a core focus EHRs, telemedicine support, and ABDM-compliant patient portals will enable seamless care continuity and remote consultations.
Neotia Group emphasized that the hospital will prioritize affordability through various insurance tie-ups, Ayushman Bharat empanelment, and community outreach programs. The facility is strategically located to serve not only Kolkata but also patients from neighbouring states and districts with limited access to advanced care.
The ₹500+ crore project (estimated) is expected to create hundreds of direct and indirect jobs and significantly enhance tertiary care capacity in West Bengal. It aligns with the state’s healthcare development goals and the group’s vision of delivering world-class medical services with compassion and accessibility.
