Adani Healthcare, the healthcare arm of the Adani Group, has named Himanshu Bhardwaj as its Chief Information Officer, a newly created executive role aimed at accelerating the group’s digital and technology agenda. The appointment was announced on January 28, 2026, as the organisation continues its rapid expansion with new hospital projects, diagnostic chain growth, and plans for integrated care delivery across multiple states.
Bhardwaj brings more than two decades of leadership in healthcare IT, having previously held senior roles in digital transformation, enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, and data analytics at prominent hospital groups and global technology providers. His expertise spans EHR/EMR implementation (Epic, Cerner, custom Indian systems), cloud migration, AI/ML deployment in clinical and operational workflows, and building secure, scalable digital platforms for patient engagement and telehealth.
In his new capacity, Bhardwaj will oversee:
- Full-stack IT strategy and infrastructure modernisation across all Adani Healthcare facilities
- Deployment and optimisation of electronic health records, clinical decision support, and hospital information systems
- AI and analytics initiatives for predictive diagnostics, operational forecasting, and personalised patient pathways
- Cybersecurity framework and compliance with DPDP Act, HIPAA (for international aspirations), and ABDM standards
- Digital patient experience platforms, including app enhancements, telemedicine, and remote monitoring integration
- Data governance, interoperability, and ABHA-linked record portability
