ShardaCare Healthcity has launched Greater Noida’s first comprehensive cancer care center, marking a significant step in strengthening oncology services in the region. The facility is designed to deliver end to end cancer care from early screening and diagnosis to advanced treatment and post treatment support under a single roof.
The center integrates a wide spectrum of oncology services, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted and endocrine therapies, as well as minimally invasive and robotic surgeries. It is also equipped with advanced radiation technologies such as IMRT, IGRT, VMAT, stereotactic radiosurgery, and brachytherapy, enabling precision driven treatment for complex cancer cases.
A multidisciplinary team of specialists has been onboarded to lead the initiative, covering medical, surgical, and radiation oncology. This collaborative model ensures coordinated care, faster decision making, and personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s condition.
The launch comes at a critical time when India is witnessing a rising cancer burden, with over 1.4 million new cases annually and projections indicating further growth in the coming years. Limited access to specialized care and late diagnosis remain major challenges, especially in emerging urban regions.
By bringing advanced oncology infrastructure closer to patients in Greater Noida and surrounding areas, the center aims to reduce the need for travel to metro cities and improve early intervention rates. The initiative reflects a broader shift toward integrated, patient centric cancer care models in India.
Additionally, ShardaCare has been expanding its oncology capabilities, including launching a Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) institute to treat complex blood disorders, further strengthening its position as a comprehensive cancer care provider.
Overall, the new facility is expected to play a crucial role in enhancing access to high quality oncology services and improving patient outcomes in the region.
“Our goal is to deliver comprehensive, patient centric cancer care closer to home bridging gaps in access and improving outcomes.”
