Health Tourism Hub to be set up at Shamshabad – Telangana CM Revanth Reddy

Speaking at the 24th annual day celebrations of the Basavatarakam Indo-American Cancer Hospital and Research Institute here on Saturday, Telangana CM Revanth Reddy announced that a Health Tourism Hub would be set up at Shamshabad. Spread over 500 to 1000 acres and land would be acquired accordingly and development plan would be presented.
He invited all the top institutes to be a part of the progress here and contribute to the medical tourism growth in this region. He also proposed a green channel since many patients from Middle East countries come to Hyderabad for treatment.
Hyderabad is already known for its best healthcare facilities as the major hospitals are already established and serving patients from various parts of globe. This city is equipped with expert healthcare professionals from all specialties in all therapy practices, state of art equipment, fully trained nursing employees and English-speaking staff. Apart from having best connectivity by Air, Rail & Bus services, the treatment costs are lower at least by 60 – 80%, when compared to similar treatments at USA and UK.
