Oscar Health Rolls Out AI-Powered Plans for Women + Chronic Care

Oscar Health is launching a new set of insurance plans leveraging AI to better serve women (menopause care) and patients with chronic diseases  aiming to reduce costs and increase personalization.

Glimpse:

For 2026, Oscar will introduce “HelloMeno,” a plan tailored to women navigating menopause, and expanded clinical packages for chronic disease care (diabetes, asthma, COPD, cardiovascular/kidney/metabolic conditions). These are supported by an AI assistant called “Oswell,” which helps with care guidance, lab interpretations, medication management, and benefit navigation.

Oscar Health is deepening its use of artificial intelligence to reshape insurance benefits. The insurer unveiled its AI agent, Oswell, which can interpret medical notes, flag drug interactions, help with referrals, and explain benefit coverage details to users. The move represents a push toward smarter, interactive health engagement rather than static insurance offerings.

Alongside this, Oscar is launching HelloMeno, a plan specifically designed for women in perimenopause and menopause, featuring no-cost access to gynecology, behavioral health, bone density screening, hormone therapy, and related services. This uniquely gender-focused approach is intended to fill gaps in traditional coverage.

For chronic disease patients, Oscar is expanding “clinical plans” that bundle services for conditions like diabetes, asthma, COPD, and metabolic or cardiovascular disease. These plans will offer zero-cost primary and specialist visits, reduced medication co-pays, health coaching, and digital monitoring tools. The company estimates members may save hundreds of dollars per year under the new structure.

“Everyone should be able to buy health coverage on their terms we call it health insurance for real life.”
