Zydus Lifesciences Launches Diasens and GlucoLive! AI-Enabled CGM Devices Revolutionizing Diabetes Monitoring

Zydus Lifesciences has introduced two breakthrough continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) devices  Diasens and GlucoLive  featuring built-in AI capabilities for real-time glucose trend analysis, predictive alerts, and personalized diabetes management insights. The launch marks a major advancement in accessible, affordable CGM technology tailored to Indian patients, aiming to improve glycemic control, reduce hypoglycemic events, and empower users with proactive, data-driven care.

Glimpse:

The Diasens and GlucoLive CGM systems offer 14-day wear, painless application, real-time glucose readings every 5 minutes, AI-powered trend predictions (up to 30 minutes ahead), low/high glucose alerts, and integration with the Zydus Diabetes Care app for customized reports, pattern recognition, and physician sharing. Designed for both Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes patients, the devices provide factory-calibrated accuracy, water resistance, and affordability compared to imported alternatives, with nationwide availability through pharmacies and online channels starting immediately.

Zydus Lifesciences, one of India’s leading pharmaceutical and healthcare companies, has officially launched two innovative continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) devices  Diasens and GlucoLive  marking the company’s bold entry into AI-enabled diabetes management technology. The announcement was made during a high-profile event in Ahmedabad on February 27, 2026, attended by senior Zydus executives, endocrinologists, and diabetes specialists who praised the devices as a game-changer for millions of Indians living with diabetes.

Both Diasens and GlucoLive are designed as wearable, minimally invasive sensors applied to the upper arm with a simple, painless applicator. They provide factory-calibrated, real-time glucose readings every 5 minutes for up to 14 days without the need for finger-prick calibration. The devices feature advanced AI algorithms that analyze glucose trends, predict potential hypo- or hyperglycemic events up to 30 minutes in advance, identify patterns (such as dawn phenomenon or post-meal spikes), and deliver personalized insights through the companion Zydus Diabetes Care mobile app. Users receive customizable alerts, visual trend graphs, time-in-range reports, and shareable summaries that can be sent directly to healthcare providers for remote monitoring and treatment adjustments.

The launch addresses critical gaps in diabetes care in India, where over 100 million people live with the condition and many struggle with irregular monitoring, delayed intervention, and high complication rates due to limited access to expensive imported CGM systems. Zydus has priced Diasens and GlucoLive competitively to improve affordability while maintaining accuracy comparable to global standards (MARD <10% in clinical studies). Both devices are water-resistant, support daily activities, and integrate seamlessly with smartphones for iOS and Android, with offline data storage and cloud syncing for longitudinal tracking.

Zydus Lifesciences Managing Director Dr. Sharvil Patel highlighted that the AI-enabled features empower patients to make informed lifestyle and medication decisions in real time, reducing fear of hypoglycemia and improving overall glycemic control. The company has already secured CDSCO approval and is pursuing international certifications for future exports. Initial availability will begin in major cities through Zydus’s pharmacy network, diabetes clinics, and online platforms, with plans for rapid pan-India rollout and partnerships with hospitals, insurers, and corporate wellness programs to drive adoption.

The introduction of Diasens and GlucoLive positions Zydus as a frontrunner in India’s growing diabetes tech market, where demand for continuous monitoring is surging amid rising awareness and increasing prevalence of Type 2 diabetes. The devices are expected to play a key role in supporting national efforts under the National Programme for Prevention and Control of Non-Communicable Diseases by enabling earlier intervention, better adherence, and reduced long-term complications.

“Diabetes management should be proactive, not reactive. With Diasens and GlucoLive, we are putting powerful AI insights directly on patients’ arms empowering them to stay ahead of their condition and live healthier, fuller lives.”
