Bangkok Hospital has launched the CardioWatch Bracelet, a medical-grade wearable designed for continuous in-hospital patient monitoring, enabling clinicians to track vital signs in real time without disturbing patients’ rest.
Glimpse:
The bracelet measures critical parameters from blood pressure and pulse to oxygen levels, heart rate and stress using advanced PPG and ECG technology. It is fully integrated with hospital systems so doctors and nurses can monitor patients remotely, improving personalised care and clinical decision-making.
Bangkok Hospital Headquarters in Thailand has unveiled an innovative wearable health monitoring device called the CardioWatch Bracelet, marking a significant step in digitally enabled patient care. The device is primarily intended for in-hospital monitoring, especially for patients with stroke, heart disease or hypertension, and is managed directly by the hospital’s clinical team.
The bracelet continuously tracks blood pressure, pulse rate, oxygen saturation, respiration rate and heart rate, using advanced photoplethysmography (PPG) and electrocardiogram (ECG) technology. It also assesses stress levels and personalised sleep patterns, enabling clinicians to observe how patients are resting and responding to treatment without frequent physical check-ups.
One of the standout features of CardioWatch is its integration with the hospital’s monitoring infrastructure data is sent directly to care teams, allowing nurses and physicians to remotely view patient vitals in real time. This approach minimises unnecessary interruptions, enhances patient comfort and supports more personalised care planning, particularly for those in critical or recovery stages.
The device has been certified by both the Thai and U.S. Food and Drug Administrations, affirming its suitability for clinical use. By combining wearable technology with hospital-level oversight, Bangkok Hospital aims to raise standards in patient monitoring helping clinicians act swiftly on vital changes and overall strengthening in-hospital safety and outcomes.
“CardioWatch brings silent monitoring to the bedside capturing what matters without disturbing healing patients.”
