The new institute features advanced radiation therapy (IMRT, IGRT, SBRT), robotic-assisted surgeries, CAR-T cell therapy capabilities, specialised haematology labs, and a dedicated bone marrow transplant unit. It emphasizes early detection, personalized treatment plans, clinical trials, and holistic support (psycho-oncology, nutrition, palliative care). The launch strengthens Sakra’s position as a leading tertiary care provider in Karnataka and aims to serve patients from across South India with world-class oncology and haematology services.

Sakra World Hospital, a prominent multispecialty tertiary care facility in Bengaluru, has officially launched its Institute of Cancer Care and Blood Disorders. It is designed to serve a broad patient base, including those from Karnataka, neighbouring states, and medical tourists seeking advanced care.

Sakra highlighted that the institute addresses the rising cancer burden in India (especially breast, lung, colorectal, and blood cancers) and the increasing need for specialized haematology services. The facility aligns with national goals under the National Cancer Control Programme and Ayushman Bharat, with plans for community outreach, screening camps, and insurance tie-ups to improve affordability and access.

This launch reinforces Sakra World Hospital’s commitment to delivering world-class, multidisciplinary care in high-acuity specialties and positions Bengaluru as a key hub for advanced oncology and haematology in South India.

“Cancer and blood disorders require not just advanced technology, but coordinated expertise and compassion. Our new institute brings all of this together under one roof for every patient.”
