A doctor led AI platform, iLive Connect, has been launched in Chennai to enable continuous remote monitoring of patients, extending clinical care beyond hospital settings and enabling early intervention.
Glimpse:
Announced in April 2026, iLive Connect is an AI-enabled platform that combines wearable biosensors and real time data analytics to monitor patient vitals continuously. The system tracks parameters like heart activity and blood pressure and is supported by a 24×7 doctor-led command centre that alerts patients and caregivers in case of abnormalities.
In a significant step toward preventive and continuous healthcare, a doctor led AI platform called iLive Connect has been launched in Chennai to enable round the clock remote patient monitoring beyond traditional hospital environments.
The platform integrates a wireless biosensor patch and wearable wristband that continuously track vital health parameters such as cardiac activity and blood pressure. This data is analyzed in real time, allowing early detection of potential health risks that may otherwise go unnoticed in conventional episodic care models.
A key component of the system is its 24×7 medical command centre staffed by experienced doctors, who monitor incoming data and provide timely alerts to patients and their families in case of abnormalities. This ensures continuous clinical oversight even when patients are outside hospital settings.
The platform is particularly beneficial for managing chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, COPD, and heart disease, as well as for elderly individuals living independently. Continuous monitoring enables early identification of deterioration, reducing the risk of emergencies and hospital readmissions.
Developed by a team of medical experts including cardiovascular surgeon Dr. Rahul Chandola and cardiologist Dr. Viveka Kumar, iLive Connect aims to shift healthcare from a reactive to a proactive model where intervention happens before symptoms escalate into serious conditions.
The system also supports multi day monitoring, capturing real world physiological data over extended periods, which provides a more comprehensive health profile compared to one time diagnostic tests.
With India facing a growing burden of cardiovascular diseases and chronic illnesses, innovations like iLive Connect are expected to play a critical role in improving outcomes by enabling early risk detection, continuous care, and better patient engagement outside hospital walls.
