Officials in Telangana have acknowledged that the delay in completing the Warangal super speciality hospital is causing ripple effects across regional healthcare. Patients from northern Telangana are now turning to Hyderabad’s MGM Hospital, adding to its already heavy load.
Authorities say that while MGM was built to serve a specific catchment, its infrastructure is now under strain. In response, plans are being revived to expedite Warangal’s project and expand outreach health services to ease the burden.
