Touch a Life- Touching lives since 2014
There are many vulnerable people exist in civil society. They are deprived of many basic needs in life. Destitutes, people living in orphanages, street children, woman trapped in human trafficking, and people with disabilities are some of such vulnerable groups. Majority of them possess a lot of dreams, hopes, and aspirations for better life. But, their dreams get shattered due to their economic constraints, their hopes get locked, their talents get untapped, and their wishes are unheard. To address such issues, to help those vulnerable people and to support the underprivileged to come up in their life, Touch a Life Foundation was established by two philanthropically motivated friends - Mrs. Vibhuti Jain and Mrs. Rina Hindocha in the year 2014. The foundation, primarily works towards the upliftment of the vulnerable groups towards better life, and undertakes unique activities such as Skill Enhancement Programs, Personality Development Sessions, Interactions leading to Social Mainstreaming, Career Orientation, and Summer Camps for the younger children. Later in the journey of Touch a Life Foundation, Ms. Sneha Boyalla also joined the organization. She became an active member to undertake Fundraising for the foundation. All the three ladies Ms. Vibhuti Jain, Mrs. Rina Hindocha and Ms. Sneha Boyalla started interacting with girls of RK Home, Orphanage near Langer House in Hyderabad, and used to organize some unique motivational sessions for them. To extend their services, they have been engaging many more likeminded trainers to train these girls on wide variety of skills. Donate Your Talent The founders at Touch a Life a Foundation have come up with “Donate Your Talent” initiative where any individual who is good at some form of skill, art, vocation, or talent can work as volunteer with the foundation and train the girls. These training sessions can be organized either at their orphanage or at the premises of the volunteer. So far, many prominent skill trainers have come forward and trained the young girls. Train from Anywhere Due to currently prevailing Covid-19 pandemic, the founders have also arranged a Computer with Projector and LIVE equipment to enable trainers / volunteers to render their training from anywhere without physical presence. Touch a Life Foundation is marching ahead by spreading smiles among young minds, transforming their lives towards better sustenance, upskilling them adequately to provide them secured livelihoods, enhancing confidence in them, and making them change agents in the society. Social Mainstreaming is Crux Young girls under institutional care get education, and foster care, but lacks social interactions for normalizing their lives with that of others in the society. Touch a Life Foundation has been doing wonderful work towards bringing such vulnerable groups to mainstream so that their self-esteem is enhanced, confidence is boosted, employability skills are upgraded, and communication levels are improved. Touch a Life Foundation works on Project based approach to identify girl children among orphanages and to train them on many useful skills.
