Yatharth Super Speciality Hospital Accelerates Stroke Diagnosis with RapidAI

Published: April 6, 2026

Yatharth Super Speciality Hospital in Greater Noida has implemented RapidAI, a US FDA-approved AI-powered imaging platform, to accelerate diagnosis and treatment of acute stroke. The system analyses CT scans in under three minutes, identifies large vessel occlusions, haemorrhages, and salvageable brain tissue, and extends the treatment window up to 24 hours from symptom onset.

Glimpse:

RapidAI provides standardised, colour coded results that help neuro teams make faster, more informed decisions in time critical stroke cases. It supports the BE FAST symptom recognition approach and reduces delays caused by limited specialist availability. The deployment marks Yatharth as one of the early adopters of advanced AI stroke imaging in the NCR region.

Yatharth Super Speciality Hospital in Greater Noida has introduced RapidAI, an advanced AI-enabled software platform, to significantly improve stroke care outcomes. The technology processes and analyses brain imaging scans rapidly, delivering critical insights to clinicians within minutes and helping overcome challenges associated with time sensitive stroke management.

Stroke remains a leading cause of death and long term disability in India. Every minute of delayed treatment can result in irreversible brain damage. RapidAI addresses this by automatically detecting large vessel occlusions, haemorrhages, and the extent of affected brain tissue from CT scans. It generates easy to interpret, colour coded maps that highlight salvageable brain areas, allowing doctors to decide on interventions such as thrombolysis or thrombectomy more quickly.

A key advantage of the platform is its ability to extend the treatment window for certain stroke patients up to 24 hours after symptom onset, compared to the traditional six-hour limit. This expanded window can make a life changing difference for many patients. The system also supports the BE FAST campaign (Balance, Eyes, Face, Arms, Speech, Time) for faster symptom recognition and response.

The deployment empowers the hospital’s neuro team to act with greater speed and precision, ultimately aiming to improve survival rates and reduce long term disability among stroke patients in the region.

β€œStroke management is extremely time-sensitive, and Rapid AI plays a crucial role in early detection and treatment planning. With its ability to quickly analyse brain scans and highlight critical abnormalities, it empowers our neuro team to make immediate and informed decisions, ultimately improving survival rates and reducing long term disability in patients.”
