This launch is part of SSII’s nationwide “Surgical Robot Yatra,” aimed at bringing cutting-edge medical technology to underserved regions.

The MantraM is not just a surgical robot; it’s a mobile unit designed to reach remote areas. Equipped with backup power systems, including onboard generators, and satellite-enabled connectivity, it ensures uninterrupted operations even in areas with limited infrastructure. The Mobile Simulation Bus accompanying the MantraM offers an immersive experience, allowing doctors, medical students, and residents to interact closely with the system through live demonstrations and hands-on training sessions.

Dr. Anurag Nema, Director of Icon Hospital, highlighted the transformative impact of such innovations in bridging gaps in healthcare access. “This is a historic moment that showcases what’s possible when innovation meets purpose,” he said. “It brings us closer to redefining and democratizing access to advanced surgical care, particularly in regions with limited specialist availability.”

The MantraM’s design focuses on scalability and adaptability, making it suitable for deployment in various settings, from urban hospitals to rural clinics. Its integration of telesurgery capabilities allows for real-time collaboration between surgical teams, enhancing the quality of care provided to patients.

This initiative underscores SSII’s commitment to advancing medical technology and making world-class healthcare accessible to all, regardless of geographic location.
