Aarogyatech a health-tech startup has officially donated its flagship Praana Digital Health Platform to IIT Roorkee, marking a significant collaboration between industry and academia. The donation is backed by the philanthropic support of the Hersha H & Hasu P. Shah Family Foundation.

The Praana platform includes the Praana Assist hardware device, along with software applications “Praana Companion” and “Praana Guide.” Aarogyatech’s aim with Praana has been to bring advanced wellness and diagnostic capabilities such as non-invasive monitoring of vital parameters, wellness tracking, and early detection tools into everyday life. 

With this donation, IIT Roorkee gains access to cutting-edge digital-health infrastructure, enabling students and researchers to experiment, innovate and develop new health-tech solutions. According to the institute’s leadership, the platform will significantly strengthen their ability to conduct clinical research, integrate AI and technology into health diagnostics, and nurture the next generation of medical-tech innovators. 

Aarogyatech’s co-founder and Chief Product & Technology Officer, an alumnus of IIT Roorkee, led the initiative as a gesture of giving back to his alma mater aiming to enable students to bridge advanced technology with real-world medical needs.
