Reliance Foundation Hospitals, the healthcare arm of Reliance Foundation led by the iconic Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai, has named George Alex as its new Chief Growth Officer. This strategic appointment signals an aggressive push toward nationwide expansion and enhanced delivery of high-quality, affordable care.

In his new role, Alex is tasked with orchestrating enterprise growth strategy, entering untapped markets, forging partnerships, and scaling operations across the hospital network. The emphasis remains on delivering world-class quaternary and tertiary care, integrating advanced technologies, and prioritizing patient-centric models to build one of India’s most trusted multispecialty ecosystems.

Alex brings a wealth of leadership experience: most recently as Regional COO for Maharashtra & Madhya Pradesh at HealthCare Global (HCG), where he spearheaded regional operations, hospital expansions, and growth in oncology and multispecialty segments. Previously, he spent over seven years at Jaslok Hospital & Research Centre as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Marketing Officer, driving revenue growth, brand transformation, operational excellence, and service enhancements.

Earlier roles include Head of Sales & Marketing at Fortis Healthcare (overseeing Raheja Fortis Hospital Mumbai) and senior positions in telecom/FMCG giants like Bharti Airtel, Videocon d2h, Etisalat DB Telecom, and Hindustan Unilever honing expertise in revenue leadership, channel development, and strategic scaling.

An MBA holder from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University with an Advanced Strategic Management Program from IIM Kozhikode, Alex’s cross-sector insights position him ideally to navigate India’s evolving healthcare landscape amid rising demand for specialized, accessible services.
