Glimpse:
Saurabh Gupta, previously Regional Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Maharashtra and Group In-charge for new hospital commissioning at KIMS, brings over two decades of expertise in hospital operations, business transformation, and project management. Based in Thane, his new role targets enhanced leadership for KIMS’ expanding footprint in Greater Mumbai, including the recently launched 300-bed multispecialty facility in Thane and upcoming initiatives like KIMS Cuddles Mother & Child Centre.
KIMS Hospitals, one of India’s leading multispecialty healthcare chains, has elevated Saurabh Gupta to the position of Regional Director for Greater Mumbai, underscoring its aggressive expansion in Maharashtra’s bustling healthcare market. This appointment, effective in late 2025, positions Gupta to oversee operations, growth strategies, and clinical excellence across the Greater Mumbai region, including Thane where KIMS has established a strong presence.
Gupta, a seasoned professional with more than 20 years in healthcare and consulting, previously served as Regional COO for Maharashtra and held additional responsibilities as Group In-charge for commissioning new hospitals. His track record includes leadership roles at Fortis Healthcare, Medanta, Hiranandani Healthcare, and consulting stints with McKinsey, GE, and PwC.
