An MBA in Hospital Management from IIHMR University and alumnus of the Indian School of Business, Gupta is known for blending strategic vision with execution, particularly in digital initiatives, robotic surgery adoption, and patient-centric innovations.

Under his prior stewardship, KIMS advanced technologies like AI-driven monitoring (Dozee), rapid diagnostics, and 5G-enabled smart ambulances in Thane. The group launched a 300-bed multispecialty hospital in Thane in 2025, followed by specialized units such as KIMS Cuddles for mother-and-child care. This regional focus aligns with KIMS’ broader Maharashtra ambitions, including facilities in Nashik and plans for deeper penetration into Mumbai’s suburbs.
