Wearable health tech company Whoop has raised $575 million in a Series G funding round, pushing its valuation to $10.1 billion. The round was led by Collaborative Fund, with participation from Abbott, Mayo Clinic, and prominent athletes including Cristiano Ronaldo, LeBron James, and Rory McIlroy.
The funding comes shortly after a regulatory turnaround by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Initially flagged in 2025 for its “Blood Pressure Insights” feature, Whoop received clearance in early 2026 when the FDA reclassified the feature under general wellness exemptions, removing stricter approval requirements.
With this boost, Whoop plans to expand across the U.S. and key international markets including Europe, the GCC, Latin America, and Asia. The company is also ramping up hiring, with over 600 new roles announced.
Founded by CEO Will Ahmed, Whoop continues to grow its subscription based wearable platform, offering advanced health monitoring features like ECG and atrial fibrillation detection. The latest investment strengthens its position in the competitive global health and fitness technology market.
