The Employeesโ€™ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has launched a completely revamped version of its ESIC Health Connect mobile app, delivering faster, more intuitive digital services to over 3.4 crore insured persons and their families. The updated app streamlines registration, claim tracking, hospital searches, telemedicine, e-Pehchan card access, and more all under one user-friendly interface.

Glimpse:

The new ESIC Health Connect app offers a seamless experience with features like instant ABHA-linked registration, real-time claim status, nearby ESIC hospital/empanelled facility locator, video consultations, digital e-Pehchan card, cashless treatment tracking, and grievance redressal. Built with improved UI/UX, multilingual support, and enhanced security, it empowers insured workers, pensioners, and dependents to manage healthcare needs anytime, anywhere. The revamp aligns with ABDM integration and ESICโ€™s push toward paperless, citizen-centric services.

The Employeesโ€™ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has unveiled a major upgrade to its flagship mobile application ESIC Health Connect making healthcare services faster, simpler, and more accessible for insured workers, pensioners, and their families. The revamped app, launched in early February 2026, replaces the earlier version with a modern design, intuitive navigation, and expanded functionality to meet the evolving needs of its vast beneficiary base of over 3.4 crore insured persons plus dependents.

Key highlights of the updated app include: One-tap ABHA (Ayushman Bharat Health Account) linking and creation Real-time tracking of sickness, maternity, and disablement benefit claims Search and navigation to nearest ESIC hospitals, dispensaries, and empanelled private facilities Direct video telemedicine consultations with ESIC doctors Digital e-Pehchan card with QR code for instant verification at facilities Cashless treatment status updates and entitlement checks Integrated grievance lodging and status tracking Multilingual interface and improved offline capabilities for select features

The redesign focuses heavily on user experience faster load times, simplified menus, secure biometric login, and push notifications for appointment reminders, claim approvals, and important alerts. By integrating tightly with the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM), the app ensures beneficiaries can seamlessly access their health records and services across the national digital health ecosystem.

ESIC officials emphasized that the upgrade is part of a broader digital transformation drive to reduce paperwork, minimize hospital visits for routine tasks, and improve overall satisfaction among insured workers in the organized sector. With millions already downloading previous versions, the new app is expected to see rapid adoption as users discover its enhanced convenience and reliability.

This launch strengthens ESICโ€™s role as a digitally forward-looking social security organization, delivering timely, transparent, and accessible healthcare services directly to workersโ€™ smartphones.

โ€œThe revamped ESIC Health Connect app puts healthcare in the palm of every insured worker faster claims, easier access to doctors, and zero paperwork.โ€
