SuperHealth Unveils SuperOS! World’s First Agentic AI Operating System for Hospitals

SuperHealth has launched SuperOS, billed as the world’s first agentic AI operating system built specifically for hospitals. The platform deploys autonomous AI agents that manage clinical workflows, revenue cycle tasks, patient engagement, resource allocation, and real-time decision support aiming to transform fragmented hospital operations into a unified, intelligent system.

Glimpse:

SuperOS functions as a central AI brain for hospitals, with specialized agents handling admissions, bed management, billing & claims, nurse scheduling, pharmacy inventory, patient follow-ups, and clinical alerts. Unlike traditional hospital information systems (HIS), it uses agentic AI to proactively anticipate needs, resolve issues autonomously, and coordinate across departments. SuperHealth claims SuperOS can reduce administrative burden by up to 60%, improve bed turnover, accelerate reimbursements, and enhance patient experience all while integrating with existing EHRs and ABDM standards.

SuperHealth, an emerging healthtech company, has introduced SuperOS—an ambitious agentic AI operating system designed to serve as the intelligent backbone of modern hospitals. Described as the world’s first OS built specifically for healthcare delivery, SuperOS goes beyond traditional hospital management software by deploying a network of autonomous AI agents that act, decide, and execute tasks with minimal human intervention.

Key components include: Clinical agents Monitoring patient vitals, flagging deterioration risks, suggesting care pathways Operations agents  Optimizing bed allocation, OR scheduling, staff rostering, and inventory in real time Revenue agents Automating insurance verification, claim submission, denial prediction, and AR follow-up Patient experience agents  Handling discharge instructions, medication reminders, feedback collection, and post-visit outreach Coordination layer Enabling agents to communicate, negotiate priorities, and escalate to humans only when necessary

SuperOS is designed to plug into existing EHRs, billing systems, and ABDM infrastructure while adding a proactive, goal-oriented layer on top. The company highlights that its agentic architecture allows the system to learn hospital-specific patterns over time, continuously improving efficiency without requiring constant reprogramming.

SuperHealth positions SuperOS as a solution to India’s hospital pain points: chronic staff shortages, delayed reimbursements, high administrative overhead, and fragmented workflows. Early pilot results reportedly show significant reductions in average length of stay, faster claim settlements, and higher staff satisfaction due to decreased repetitive tasks.

The platform is now being rolled out to select partner hospitals, with plans for broader adoption across Tier-1 and Tier-2 cities.

“Hospitals don’t need another software they need an intelligent OS that thinks, acts, and runs the hospital with them.”
