Fujifilm India made a strong impression at the Indian Radiological and Imaging Association (IRIA) 2026 Annual Conference by unveiling its latest portfolio of advanced diagnostic imaging systems and integrated healthcare IT solutions. The showcase focused on AI-enhanced modalities, high-resolution ultrasound, digital radiography, and end-to-end radiology workflow platforms designed to improve diagnostic accuracy, speed, and accessibility across Indian hospitals.
Glimpse:
At IRIA 2026, held January 23β26 in New Delhi, Fujifilm India demonstrated its flagship innovations, including the new Amulet Innovality Harmony mammography system with AI-powered breast density assessment, the Echelon Synergy MRI with deep learning reconstruction for faster neuro and musculoskeletal scans, and the Synapse Enterprise Imaging suite upgraded with AI triage and reporting tools. The company also highlighted its Made-in-India manufacturing capabilities and commitment to expanding access to advanced imaging in tier-2 and tier-3 cities.
Fujifilm India turned heads at the 79th Annual Conference of the Indian Radiological and Imaging Association (IRIA 2026) with a comprehensive display of its latest diagnostic imaging and healthcare IT advancements. The event, held from January 23β26, 2026, in New Delhi, provided the perfect platform for Fujifilm to reinforce its growing leadership in Indiaβs radiology sector by showcasing technologies tailored to the countryβs diverse healthcare needs.
Among the major highlights was the Amulet Innovality Harmony, a next-generation full-field digital mammography system featuring Fujifilmβs proprietary AI-driven breast density analysis and tomosynthesis capabilities. The system delivers exceptional image quality at lower radiation doses and includes automated tools to assist radiologists in detecting subtle lesions in dense breast tissue a critical need in India, where dense breasts are common and mammography sensitivity can be reduced.
In MRI, Fujifilm presented the Echelon Synergy 1.5T system equipped with deep learning reconstruction (Denoising and Super Resolution) that cuts scan times by up to 50% while maintaining or improving image sharpness particularly valuable for paediatric, geriatric, and claustrophobic patients. The system also supports advanced neuro applications, including high-resolution diffusion-weighted imaging and functional MRI, enabling more precise diagnosis of stroke, tumours, and neurodegenerative conditions.
Fujifilmβs Synapse Enterprise Imaging suite received significant attention with its latest upgrades, including AI-powered worklist prioritisation, automated report generation, and seamless integration with PACS, RIS, and VNA systems. The platform now supports multi-site connectivity, allowing radiologists in urban centres to remotely report for rural facilities an important step toward addressing Indiaβs radiologist shortage in underserved regions.
The company also showcased its expanding βMade-in-Indiaβ portfolio, with several systems now manufactured locally at its facility in Bengaluru. This aligns with the governmentβs Atmanirbhar Bharat and Make-in-India initiatives, reducing import dependence and enabling faster service and support for Indian customers.
Chander Shekhar Sibal, Executive Director & Head of Healthcare Business at Fujifilm India, stated during the event: βIRIA 2026 is the ideal platform to demonstrate how our latest innovations can address Indiaβs unique healthcare challenges delivering faster, more accurate diagnoses while making advanced imaging more accessible across urban and rural settings. Our focus remains on building a sustainable, self-reliant ecosystem for radiology and diagnostics in the country.β
The launch of these solutions reflects Fujifilmβs commitment to supporting Indiaβs goal of universal health coverage by equipping hospitals with technology that improves early detection, reduces diagnostic delays, and enhances workflow efficiency. With strong adoption already seen in leading private chains and government institutions, the company is poised to play a pivotal role in modernising Indiaβs imaging landscape.
βOur innovations are designed to make advanced diagnostics faster, more accurate, and more accessible bridging the gap between urban excellence and rural reach in Indiaβs healthcare journey.β
