Advertising & Sponsored Content Policy

HealthBuzz welcomes advertising from healthcare providers, pharma, medtech, health-tech, insurers, education and other responsible brands. All advertising is subject to this policy and to our acceptance.
What we accept
- Advertisements must be legal, truthful, not misleading and capable of substantiation, and must comply with the Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI) Code and guidelines, the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the CCPA Guidelines for Prevention of Misleading Advertisements, 2022.
- Medicine and treatment advertising must comply with the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940, the Drugs and Magic Remedies (Objectionable Advertisements) Act, 1954 and the rules under them. Prescription-only medicines are not advertised to the public. Advertisements by registered medical practitioners must respect the National Medical Commission's professional-conduct regulations.
- We do not accept advertising for tobacco, gambling, weapons, adult content, "miracle" cures, or products claiming to diagnose, cure, mitigate or prevent diseases listed in the Schedule to the Drugs and Magic Remedies Act.
Ad formats
We offer display banners, 3D side rails, in-article units, newsletter and E-Paper placements, sponsored stories, and short voiceovers that play when a reader hovers over (desktop) or taps (mobile) an advertisement. Voiceovers never play automatically on mobile and are muted until the reader chooses to hear them.
Separation from editorial
Advertising and sponsored content are clearly labelled ("Advertisement", "Sponsored", "Partner content") and are kept separate from our journalism. Advertisers do not see stories before publication and cannot influence coverage.
Data and privacy
Our own ad system counts views and clicks without collecting personal data. Third-party ad networks, if used, operate only after the reader's cookie consent, as described in our Cookie Policy.
