Cookie Policy
Last updated: 7 October 2026
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. We also use similar technologies such as local storage. This policy explains what we use on www.healthbuzz.in and how you can control it. It forms part of our Privacy Policy.
Types of cookies we use
| Type | Examples | Purpose | Consent |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | hb.sid (session), security token | Keep you signed in, protect forms against forgery (CSRF), load balancing and security | Always on — the site cannot work without them |
| Preferences | Theme (light/dark), text size, "Listen" voice and speed, cookie choice, closed pop-ups and ads | Remember your settings (stored in your browser only) | Always on; you can clear them in your browser |
| Analytics | Google Analytics (if enabled) | Understand how readers use the site so we can improve it (aggregated statistics) | Only if you click "Accept" |
| Advertising | Google AdSense or other ad partners (if enabled) | Show and measure advertisements and limit how often you see them | Only if you click "Accept" |
Our own ad system counts views and clicks without storing personal data about you.
Your choices
- Use the cookie banner to choose Accept or Essential only. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer.
- You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site (such as sign-in) from working.
- To opt out of Google Analytics across sites you can use Google's browser add-on, and you can manage personalised Google ads at adssettings.google.com.
