CGHS De-Empanels 99 Hospitals, Clinics and Labs Across Delhi-NCR

Beneficiaries cannot start new treatment at these facilities from 16 September, but patients already admitted will continue to be covered.
The Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) has de-empanelled 99 healthcare facilities across Delhi-NCR, including hospitals, dental clinics and diagnostic centres, with effect from 16 September 2026.
The affected facilities are spread across Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurgaon, Faridabad and Sonipat. BLK-Max Super Speciality Hospital in Noida, Noida International Institute of Medical Sciences and Jeevan Jyoti Hospital are among them.
What it means for beneficiaries
CGHS cardholders can no longer begin fresh treatment or obtain new pre-authorisations at these facilities. However, patients who were already undergoing treatment, including those admitted before 16 September, can complete their treatment under existing CGHS credit arrangements.
Not a quality issue, says CGHS
CGHS clarified that the move does not reflect any concern about quality of care. The facilities were removed because their empanelment was not renewed during the routine review carried out through the Hospital Engagement Module on the Transaction Management System 2.0.
The order says the affected organisations can apply again for empanelment once they meet the prescribed criteria. Beneficiaries are advised to check the current list of empanelled facilities on the CGHS website before planning treatment.
