HealthBuzz is a digital publisher of news and current affairs. We adhere to the Code of Ethics in the Appendix to the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 — including the Norms of Journalistic Conduct of the Press Council of India — and we have a grievance redressal mechanism as required by Part III of those Rules. The same Grievance Officer also handles complaints under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.

- what you believe is wrong (for example a factual error, a breach of the Code of Ethics, a privacy concern, a payment or refund issue) and any supporting documents; and
- the correction or action you are seeking.
Our timelines
- We will acknowledge your complaint within 24 hours.
- We will take a decision and communicate it to you within 15 days of receipt.
- If a published story contains a factual error, we will correct it and add a note at the end of the story stating what was changed and when.
If you are not satisfied
If you are not satisfied with our decision, or do not receive one within 15 days, you may escalate the complaint to the self-regulating body of publishers of which HealthBuzz is a member (details will be published here once membership is confirmed), and thereafter to the Oversight Mechanism of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, as provided under the IT Rules, 2021. For personal-data complaints you may approach the Data Protection Board of India, and for consumer complaints the National Consumer Helpline (1915) or the appropriate Consumer Commission.
