ZoeNCure Therapeutics Raises ₹20 Crore to Take Dual-Payload Cancer Drug Towards Trials

The Delhi startup's antibody-drug conjugate targets liver and gastrointestinal cancers; the Tyagi family office led the round.
New Delhi-based ZoeNCure Therapeutics has raised Rs 20 crore (about $2.4 million) in seed funding to advance its precision-oncology programme.
The round was led by the Tyagi family, a Gurugram-based HNI group represented by Shyambir Tyagi and Manoj Tyagi, with participation from angel co-investors. Including an earlier Rs 2.5 crore pre-seed round, the company has now raised Rs 22.5 crore.
The science
ZoeNCure develops antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) — antibodies that home in on cancer cells and deliver a toxic payload directly to them. Its platform uses two different cytotoxic payloads on one antibody, an approach meant to tackle drug resistance in solid tumours.
Its lead candidate targets hard-to-treat liver and gastrointestinal cancers, including hepatocellular carcinoma.
Use of funds
The money will fund preclinical studies, scale-up of chemistry, manufacturing and controls (CMC), and regulatory filings with India's CDSCO as the company moves towards Phase 1 clinical trials. Manoj Tyagi said the follow-on investment reflects confidence in the team and its dual-payload platform.
