Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 7 October 2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website www.healthbuzz.in, its mobile versions, newsletters, E-Paper, E-Magazine, the Dr. Buzz AI assistant and all related services (together, the "Platform") operated by Health Hub Media Private Limited, a company incorporated in India with its registered office at Flat GA, Atlas Apartment, Road No. 10, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, Telangana, India ("HealthBuzz", "we", "us" or "our").
By accessing or using the Platform you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. These Terms are an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it, and do not require a physical or digital signature.
1. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, subscribe to HB Plus, comment or make a payment. Persons under 18 may read the Platform only under the supervision of a parent or lawful guardian.
- You must give accurate information when registering and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately at info@healthbuzz.in if you suspect unauthorised use.
- We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms or applicable law.
2. Health information is not medical advice
Content on the Platform — including news, features, explainers, health tools (such as BMI or heart-rate calculators), the "Listen" audio feature and answers from the Dr. Buzz AI assistant — is for general information and news purposes only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it does not create a doctor–patient relationship. Always consult a qualified, registered medical practitioner about your health. Never ignore professional advice or delay seeking it because of something you read on the Platform. In an emergency, call 108 or 112 immediately.
3. AI assistant (Dr. Buzz)
- Dr. Buzz is an automated, AI-powered assistant that summarises and explains news published on the Platform and general health-news information. Its answers are generated by a computer model and may be incomplete, out of date or incorrect.
- Do not share personal health records, identity numbers, financial details or other sensitive personal data with Dr. Buzz.
- Do not use Dr. Buzz to obtain medical, legal or financial advice, or for any unlawful purpose. We may limit or suspend use to prevent abuse.
4. Intellectual property
All content on the Platform — articles, photographs we own or license, videos, audio, graphics, logos, the HealthBuzz name and marks, the E-Paper and E-Magazine, and the software — is owned by or licensed to Health Hub Media Private Limited and is protected by the Copyright Act, 1957, the Trade Marks Act, 1999 and other laws. You may read, share links to and print individual articles for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, republish, frame, scrape, sell, create derivative works from, or use our content to train AI or machine-learning models without our prior written permission. Short quotations with clear attribution and a link to the original story are permitted for news reporting and comment.
Third-party material (for example photographs from Wikimedia Commons or press releases) belongs to its respective owners and is used under the applicable licence or with permission, as credited.
5. User content (comments, submissions, press releases)
- You are responsible for anything you post or submit. By submitting content you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to publish, edit for length and clarity, and distribute it on the Platform and our channels.
- You must not post content that is defamatory, obscene, pornographic, paedophilic, invasive of privacy, hateful, discriminatory on grounds of religion, caste or gender, misleading about medical treatment or cures, infringing of intellectual property, harmful to children, threatening to the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, or otherwise unlawful, including content prohibited under Rule 3(1)(b) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
- Comments may be moderated before or after publication. We may remove content and block users at our discretion or when required by law.
- Press releases and sponsored submissions are published at our editorial discretion and may be labelled as such.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) break or attempt to break the security of the Platform; (b) use bots, scrapers or automated tools to access the Platform except search-engine crawlers that obey our robots.txt; (c) upload viruses or malicious code; (d) interfere with other users' use; (e) impersonate any person; or (f) use the Platform in breach of any applicable law.
7. HB Plus subscriptions and payments
- HB Plus and other paid products are offered at the prices shown at the time of purchase, inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
- Payments are processed by authorised third-party payment gateways (such as Razorpay, PhonePe or Bank of Baroda). We do not store your card, UPI or bank credentials. Your use of a payment gateway is also subject to its terms.

- Plans are for the duration purchased and do not renew automatically unless clearly stated at checkout.
- Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
8. Advertising and sponsored content
The Platform displays advertisements, some of which may play a short voiceover when you hover over or tap them. Advertisements and sponsored content are the responsibility of the advertiser; their appearance does not mean we endorse the advertiser, product or service. Please see our Advertising & Sponsored Content Policy.
9. Links to third-party websites
The Platform may link to websites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, privacy practices or availability.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
We work hard to keep the Platform accurate and available, but it is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, about completeness, accuracy, reliability or fitness for a particular purpose, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Market data shown in the Healthcare Sensex ticker is indicative, may be delayed and must not be relied on for trading or investment decisions.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Health Hub Media Private Limited, its directors, employees and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability for any claim relating to a paid product will not exceed the amount you paid us for that product in the three months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Indian law, including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your user content or your violation of any law or third-party rights.
13. Grievances and contact
Complaints about content, including complaints under the Code of Ethics for digital news publishers, can be raised with our Grievance Officer as described on our Grievance Redressal page. Other questions: info@healthbuzz.in.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any non-excludable rights you have as a consumer, the courts at Hyderabad, Telangana have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform.
15. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows when they last changed. Material changes will be highlighted on the Platform. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
16. General
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms; we may transfer ours to a successor of our business.
