Medanta Buys Land in Ghaziabad for ₹165.82 Crore to Build 350+ Bed Hospital

Global Health Ltd won the 10,560 sq m freehold plot in a UP Housing Board auction to expand in Delhi-NCR.
Global Health Ltd, which runs the Medanta chain of hospitals, has acquired a 10,560 sq m land parcel in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, for about ₹165.82 crore.
The freehold plot was allotted through an online auction by the Uttar Pradesh Housing & Development Board.
Plans
The company plans to build a hospital with more than 350 beds offering tertiary and quaternary care to patients in Ghaziabad and nearby areas, drawing on Medanta's existing clinical programmes and strengthening its presence in Delhi-NCR.
The project is subject to board approval and regulatory clearances. Timelines for construction and opening have not yet been announced.
