Ultrahuman's $70 Million Round Tops India's Digital Health Funding in September

Wearables, medicine-delivery logistics and foundation-backed deals dominated the month, according to DHN's funding tracker.
Bengaluru-based wearable health company Ultrahuman raised $70 million in a Series C round in September — the largest single round tracked by Digital Health News over three months.
The round was led by Qualcomm Ventures, with participation from Alpha Wave, Labcorp, Blume Ventures, Nexus Venture Partners and Zomato founder Deepinder Goyal.
Shift in investor focus
The tracker notes a change in what investors backed through the quarter. July was marked by early-stage AI diagnostics and consumer wearables; August by diagnostics and medtech companies raising anchor money ahead of IPOs, along with paediatric behavioural-health platforms. In September, hardware, medicine-delivery logistics platforms and foundation-backed deals stood out.
Other companies funded
Other startups that raised money during the month included DocPharma, Rio Health, Medulance, xStep, iKure and Fundly.ai.
