Kamareddy: Medical Council Raids Four Clinics Allegedly Run Without Qualified Doctors

Two first-aid centres and two clinics were allegedly giving injections and antibiotics; the council has shared a helpline for citizens to report illegal clinics.
The Telangana State Medical Council raided four medical establishments in Kamareddy district that were allegedly being run by people without valid medical qualifications.
The team, led by council Chairman Dr. K. Mahesh Kumar and Vice-Chairman Dr. T. Kiran Kumar, inspected two first-aid centres and two clinics located near the old bus stand, Shanti Talkies and Sircilla Road.
Officials said the centres were allegedly administering injections and antibiotics to patients even though the operators had neither the qualification nor the authorisation to do so.
Cases under State and NMC law
The council has initiated criminal cases and other legal action under the Telangana Medical Practitioners Registration (TMPR) Act and the National Medical Commission Act.
Earlier, the council had identified 14 illegal clinics in Nalgonda district operating without recognised medical degrees.
How to report
The council has urged people not to consult unqualified practitioners. Citizens can report illegal clinics through WhatsApp or the helpline 9154382828.
